Screening resumes, interviewing candidates (via phone and in-person) and providing shortlists of qualified candidates to hiring managers and coordinating the overall process of interview. Performing reference and background checks of the selected candidates. Negotiating salary with the selected candidates and forwarding the same for relevant approvals to release timely offers. Communicating employer information and benefits during screening process. Engaging with staffing agencies and college placement offices to fill temporary and specialized positions. Initiating and participating in campus hiring to recruit the potential candidates. Responding to applicant inquiries, walk-ins and warm calls. Preparing daily and weekly reports for hiring needs. Handling joining and exit formalities, induction programme as well as initiating employee engagement activities. Documentation of employee records, preparation of appointment letters, maintaining attendance, schedule meetings and events.
