The GE Field Vantage is a Web-based Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition tool for managing multiple organizations with multiple wells. Field Vantage Project is a collection of loosely coupled and tightly integrated services deployed Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud servers. .NET is the main platform of development and Windows server 2012 is the commonly used operating system. Below given are the different services used in Field Vantage Project. • Web Application - IIS Web Server • Message Queue - RabbitMQ • Database - MySQL (Relational Database Service, RDS in AWS) • Event Gateway - Apache Karaf • Field Gateway • Field Controller. The scope includes Organization Administration, Organization level User Administration, Well Administration and Read Type administration. 1. Organization Administration: Stores the Organization details, Customer details and Communication details of Organization. 2. Creating and managing User of the Organization with specific roles. 3. Creating and managing new Well or we can also clone the well details with specific Lift and devices for the organization. 4. Managing Read Types which are the descriptive reading used to track the information from the field and are used to track the information from the field and are used to monitor the assigned well in the system. We are also providing add on such as Field vantage Services and Smart signal data collector which will manage the advisories and cases for Field Vantage. The Field Vantage application interacts with many devices for well monitoring and optimization and each of these devices are equipped with various read types, which provides data from different sensors. Most of these read types are common across multiple devices, but each read type is referenced with vendor specific name. When considered on a larger scale, managing the same read types with different names across multiple devices will be tedious. To resolve issues like these, "Standard Tag Mapping", brings in a generic solution in standardizing the read type naming convention and also unifying the read type tag names, so that a unique tag name will be used to reference similar read types. The Standard Tag Mapping process involves multiple use cases and scenarios, which are detailed in the subsequent pages.
