Designed the back end architecture for Quest HL7 Integration project. As a Team Lead, conducted code review meetings and assisted in coding. Worked with team members to provide timely and accurate estimates for development solution and guided them with strategic direction. Developed Bi-Directional HL7 Lab Interface for Antidote EMR application with Vendor: Quest Diagnostics in Python Django which allow Doctors to send patient’s Lab Orders to Quest in form of Structured HL7 message and they can send the Results back the same way using REST API (JSON). Developed other functionalities like fetching all the Quest data text files from its WebDAV Server and convert into readable format for display. Generated pdf document of the orders created to the patient and show detailed view of patient’s results. Created Cron Jobs in Google Scheduler to run APIs. Developed Bi-Directional Patient Interface for Antidote EMR application with Vendor: Health Gorilla. Creating and worked on more than 10 FHIR Resources for sending and receiving Patient Demographics, Patient Care Data and Documents using REST API (JSON). Developed other functionalities like converting xml docs to csv, storing / retrieving data on Google Cloud Storage. Developed Bi-Directional FHIR Lab Interface for Antidote EMR application with Vendor: Health Gorilla. Created and worked on many FHIR Resources for sending and receiving lab orders, results and compendium. Handled bulk API calls and bulk entries in DB with efficient ways like using asyncio library and bulk create django. Wrote scripts using python selenium package for web scraping.

As a Team Lead, assisted team in resolving client escalations and providing solutions. Worked with Hospitals and Vendors to effectively communicate interface and architecture changes and required enhancements. Implementing new functionalities as per client’s requirement. Worked on integration and implementation HL7 interfaces like ADT(Patient Demographics), DFT(Charges), SIU(Scheduling), Lab and Radiology etc. and fixing bugs. Configure and developed Python based integration Engine to establish transaction of HL7 messages.
