Designed and implemented license consumption logic for multiple features within the smart licensing component, enabling the tracking, reporting, and enforcement of license usage. Led the successful migration from traditional BAU (Business as usual) model to new FCM (Flexible consumption model) model, providing more flexible and adaptable licensing options that meet evolving customer needs and boost revenue for Cisco products. Developed and enhanced multiple IOS-XR based system utility CLIs. Implemented robust security measures to prevent privilege escalation through OS command injection attacks, safeguarding system integrity and protecting against unauthorized access. Provided Yang support for the Linux ‘dir’ command, replacing the traditional CLI method and allowing customers to query directory details on router nodes via SSH connection, enhancing usability and efficiency. Automated the nightly runs for multiple platforms, resulting in increased code coverage, reduced regressions and consistent delivery of high-quality code. Contributed as both an individual contributor and a collaborative team member, actively sharing knowledge and facilitating smooth onboarding for team members and new joiners.
