Contributed to maintaining and scaling a real-time IoT data platform supporting 18,000+ electric vehicles across multiple segments, processing millions of telemetry events daily. Assisted in building and operating Kafka-based ingestion pipelines, streaming raw vehicle telemetry into MongoDB with low-latency and high reliability. Developed and optimized ETL/ELT pipelines using MongoDB, Python, PySpark and Java, enabling near real-time analytics such as vehicle status, fault events and cluster-level insights. Built and maintained Java-based Data Supply APIs, exposing processed data from MongoDB and BigQuery to mobile applications, web-apps, and Data-as-a-Service (DAAS) consumers. Designed the architecture and data models for an in-house Enterprise Data Warehouse for legacy systems using Airflow, BigQuery, Polars, and DuckDB. Implemented hourly and daily ETL automation, delivering enriched analytics including trip summaries, geofencing, stoppage analysis, overspeed detection and charging reports. Built internal MongoDB replication, archival and restore utilities. Integrated all data sources with OpenMetadata for efficient data observability and governance.
