Used Informatica Power Centre 10.4 for extraction, transformation and load (ETL) of data in data warehouse. Extensively used Transformations like Router, Aggregator, Normalizer, Joiner, Expression and Lookup, Update strategy and Sequence generator and Stored Procedure. Used SQL to test various reports and ETL Jobs load in development, testing and production. Implemented performance tuning logic on targets, sources, mappings, sessions to provide maximum efficiency and performance. Parameterized mappings and increased re-usability. Used Informatica Power Center Workflow manager to create sessions, workflows and batches to run with logic embedded in mappings. Created procedures to truncate data in target before session run. Extensively used Informatica debugger to figure out problems in mapping. Also involved in troubleshooting existing ETL bugs.

Analyzed business requirements and functional specifications. Extracted data from oracle database and spreadsheets and staged into Data Hub Layer and applied. Created list of inconsistencies in data load on client side so as to review and correct issues on their side. Created ETL exception reports and validation reports after data is loaded into warehouse. Created Test cases for mappings developed and then created integration Testing Document. Followed Informatica recommendations, methodologies and best practices.
