Spearheaded the successful launch of the Pay Extract Service for the US Salaried population, managing the seamless integration for over 200,000 employees. Functioned as point of contact for the team, facilitating the secure deprecation of an older upstream service. Orchestrated the connection between core service and upstream team’s new service by checking and correcting new API contracts and listening to new SNS. Mitigated the occurrence of duplicate execution IDs with an approach inspired by the Birthday paradox. Identified critical points of failure occurring from inconsistent data in upstream services. Implemented an automated ticketing mechanism which escalates issues to the respective upstream team leading to 15 percent decline of tickets in the main queue. Demonstrated adeptness in resolving high-severity customer tickets during On-call. Integrated SES into 2 services, elevating customer communication through emails. Deployed/Updated multiple AWS services using YAML scripts for Cloud Formation. Resolved timeouts within a specific Step Function by setting the timeouts dynamically leading to 80 percent lesser tickets caused by the Step Function. Orchestrated the implementation of security logging across 4 key services. Implemented User Interface changes using React as per customer requirements. Added/Updated integration tests and unit tests across various packages.
