Leading a project focusing on Financial Data Extraction and Analysis. Built an end to end framework for the project comprising text extraction, pre and post processing involving db operations. Managed and executed a client project related to Financial Data Extraction. Created APIs and containerized applications using Docker. Created scripts to assess the quality of the annotation data. Acquired fundamental knowledge of Financial Statements as required by the project. Assumed responsibility for sprint calls and overseeing Jira management for the team. Started mentoring an intern on a research project, offering guidance and support.

Worked on a proof of concept that focused on extracting financial data from image-based documents. Built main frame work involving pre-processing and post-processing of the data extracted. Trained few classifier models for specific purposes and integrated them at various levels in the pipeline. Trained couple of open source OCR Engines with custom data and analyzed its performance. Conducted image enhancement and experimented with data quality through artificial noise addition. Leveraged a variety of plots to gain insights into the data and its underlying patterns.
