• Created automated DB migration script which helped us migrate huge DB tables without affecting DB metrics. Eventually helping us in optimizing query runtimes and reducing API response time to ~ 30%. • Security enhancements, masked exposed user data in APIs. • Created OTP delivery feature with support of multiple vendors like Whatsapp and Plivo along with fallback mechanism, resulting in OTP delivery by ~ 50% which eventually helped in user retention. • Converted a heavy write table in DB from synchronously to asynchronously, to reduce and control the number of writes on the database with the help of Kafka which reduced the load by ~ 50%. • Created dynamic RSS generation scripts for multiple partners to share our content across multiple platforms like JioSaavan and Wynk . Increased users gradually. • Created Coupon generating service which had feature to generate bulk coupons for partners like Flipkart, Amazon, Airtel • Integrated DAGS on airflow to schedule and monitor with their alerts service on Slack. • Various one-time backfilling/mapping scripts according to use cases using Django ORM, Redshift, Athena. • Worked on creating A/B experiments.
