Analyzed and designed a new framework in Big Data Platform. Developed shell scripts for executing API calls to source system data and performed cleansing of data via Python scripts. Executed DDLs to create raw, staging, and consumption tables in hive. Developed intermediate property files to help in data ingestion. Used Spark to run Python scripts for faster data processing. Created CA7 jobs and scheduled the same in the mainframe environment to trigger the scripts. Worked on different file formats like csv, json, parquet etc. Working in Agile methodology with JIRA as a bug tracking tool.
