High Temperature Air Combustion with Vitiated Air for Industrial Furnaces. The work described the effect of pre-heat temperature as well as mixture percentage of exhaust gases on the temperature distribution, NOx emissions and flame characteristics studied using two dimensional simulations. Design calculations have been done to understand the effect of various input parameters using MATLAB. Numerical simulations are performed to visualise the effect of preheating temperature and the dilution percentage on flame characteristics.

Development and Characterization of 2G High Temperature Superconductor (HTS) based Modular superconducting fault current limiter (SFCL) System. A modular Superconducting Fault Current Limit unit was made using 2G YBCO HTS tape for 3.3 kV, 200 A operation. The units were designed, developed and characterized in-house for both DC and AC domain. The experimental results such as thermal and resistance profile have been briefly analyzed during fault and recovery of the superconductor.
